Zusammenfassung:It is shown that the rate of photosynthesis of Chlorella pyrenoidosa Chick, is partially inhibited by Diamox which has, however, no influence on the isotopic composition of the photosynthetic oxygen if H 2 18 O, C 16 O 2 and HC 16 O 3 ′ are used as substrates. No inhibition of the exchange between H 2 O and CO 2 on the surface om maize leaves could be observed if the leaves were exposed to a Diamox solution.
