Zusammenfassung: | This study was carried out to investigate the comparative effectiveness of ferrous sulfate (FeSO4) and magnesium chloride (MgCl2) in removing color from synthetic C.I. Reactive Black 5 dye wastewater. After chemical coagulation, treated wastewater was reused in
the wash-off process. Using 400 ppm of MgCl2, a color removal efficacy of 97% was achieved at pH 12 for synthetic Reactive Black 5 dye wastewater. Coagulant FeSO4 yielded 85% color removal efficiency under the same conditions. The fabric washed with coagulant-treated
