Zusammenfassung:The chromatographic behaviour of a number of 16,17-secoestrone derivatives, has been studied by LC on non-polar chemically bonded stationary phases C-8 and C-18 commercially available columns. The mobile phases used were: methanol-water and acetonitrile-water in various proportions. The separation ability is discussed in terms of nature of the solute, eluent, and stationary phase. The correlation between the retention constants of 16,17-secoestrone derivatives with log P calculated by using commercial program ACD log P software has also been examined.
