One of the most important assumptions is that terrorism is a complex and difficult task to carry out. In fact, it is rather simple. In order to examine this a "reconnaissance" was conducted. Numerous targets were easily available to attack. The other significant assumption is that this is a (total) war against terrorism. It is not. Rather, it is a symbolic and political war. A war we may lose. |
