Zusammenfassung: | The purpose of this study was to determine the number of years of annual reports to shareholders available on the Web sites of Fortune 500 firms. The author examined all such sites between January 19 and February 15, 2003. About 33 percent of the Fortune firms provide access to five or more years, and about 77 percent provide access to at least two years. The greatest number of years provided by any company was 31, and the second greatest number was 20. The average number of years provided was 3.58. |
