Chain of Life: A Newsletter About Adoption and Child Welfare

I began publishing the Chain of Life newsletter in 1989 to address issues of concern to people who are personally or professionally involved with adoption and are interested in a feminist, pro-gay and lesbian perspective. I am an adoptee born at mid-century, and for most of my life I was not aware of how the experience of being adopted affected me, nor had I met other people who were adopted.
