Zusammenfassung: | The utility of two easily administered tests which measure knowledge of aging was examined using a pre- and posttest format with preclinical medical students (n = 94) and a combined group of fourth year medical students and internal medicine resident physicians (n = 45). Both instruments were able to measure change (i.e., improvement), although the educational significance of these gains in questionable. The authors recommend the development of better designed instruments in the area of geriatric medical education. |
