Zusammenfassung: | Currently, researches and technologies concerning highly developed vibration control methodology are increasingly required in various fields such as structural design, earthquake engineering and aerospace technology. This work deals with a new type of seismic isolation system having multifunctional controllability. A mechatro damper installed in this system can be arbitrarily utilized as a passive damper, a semi-active damper as well as an active one according to the specific purpose. A hybrid isolation system that can be used as a semiactive-active damper is proposed. SMC (sliding mode control) algorithm is mainly used in the system based on the characteristics of the VSS (variable structure system). However, in the absence of SMC, active control can be introduced. Basic characteristics of this isolation system are clarified by both experiment and numerical analysis whereby the frequency response and some seismic response behaviors are obtained. |
