Zusammenfassung:The present paper concerns a minimum-weight design of a laminated composite plate under dynamic response. The maximum deflections at the specified location are used as behavior constraints under periodic loading. The optimal layer thickness and layer angle distributions are obtained using a mathematical programming method. The usefulness of this optimization is shown through several numerical examples for a cantilevered laminated plate.
