Zusammenfassung:The heat transfer in laminar condensate film in forced-and free-convection condensation of a binary vapor mixture is compared with that for a pure vapor, and the following conclusion is derived. When the correlation equations for a pure vapor are applied to a binary vapor mixture, the phase-change number in the equations should be modified as H*=Hi(1-(qcx)/(qwx)), where Hi is defined based on the temperature difference between the vapor-liquid interface and the cooling surface, qcx is the local heat flux at the interface in the vapor phase, and qwx is the local heat flux at the cooling surface.
