Zusammenfassung: | This paper is concerned with a dual reciprocity boundary element method (DRBEM) applied to the thermoelastic problem of temperature-dependent materials. The fundamental solution of homogeneous materials is used in the integral equation, and hence a domain integral arises in the resulting boundary integral equation. This domain integral is transformed into boundary integrals based on the dual reciprocity introducing a new set of radial basis functions. The details of the proposed DRBEM are presented, and a computer code is developed for two-dimensional problems. Through discussion of the results obtained by the computer code, the usefulness of the present DRBEM is demonstrated. |
