Zusammenfassung: | An experimental study of macroscopic creep behavior of perforated plates was performed to verify the prediction method proposed by the authors. Creep tests of perforated plates and flat plates made of Hastelloy X were carried out at 800°C and 950°C, and a comparison between the predicted minimum creep rate of perforated plates and the experimental results was made. Predicted results coincided well with experimental results, and an applicability of the prediction method, which contributes to the definition of the effective stress of perforated plates considering the effective section area, was clarified. Moreover, the possibility of predicting the macroscopic creep rupture properties of perforated plates was examined based on the effective stress together with the creep rupture properties of flat plates, and a good agreement was found between prediction and experiment. |
