Zusammenfassung: | Two ways of calculation of pressure pulsations in compressor ducts, one being an application of the analog computer and the other that of model piping, were developed and tried for the single stage air compressor of single cylinder. The former, requiring considerably many computer elements, was found to be superior in accuracy to the latter especially to estimate the pulsations of higher order. On the other hand, model piping will be advantageous as it is easily made up by manual work and needs no experts. However, in the vicinity of resonant point the amplitudes obtained by simulators may be much higher than those by actual compressors. |
