Zusammenfassung:Three kinds of poly (benzil ether) type perylene dendrimer were synthesised. The shielding effects of benzil ether dendron on the molecular aggregation formation of the perylene core in a solid film were investigated in the ground state and the excitation state. A smallscale shelding effect appeared in the ground state even by the introduction of the low generation dendron to the perylene core. By using the third generation dendron, the molecular aggregation formation was completely shielded. Direct contact of the perylene molecules was obstructed depending on each bulky structure of the lower generation dendrons. The dendron size of third generation was necessary to shield aggregation by covering the whole of the perylene core. In lower generation dendromers, the distance between perylene cores and the orientation of perylene morecules caused the excimer formation in a solid film, because the excimer is formed without inter-molecular primary contact. On the other hand, in the case of the third generation perylene dendrimer, the excimer formation in a solid film was completely shielded. In conclusion, luminescence from a high density perylene solid film was made possible in the third generation perylene dendrimer.
