Zusammenfassung:New homo-and copoly (ether-imide) s were synthesized using an N, N'-bis (3-hydroxyphenyl) derivative of p-terphenyltetracarboxdiimide as monomer and their thermotropic liquid crystalline (LC) and optical properties were investigated. The obtained polymers showed the thermotropic LC property and UV-Vis absorption spectra in HFIP solution and in solid state based on the p-terphenyltetracarboxdiimide structure, but photoluminescent spectra were not observed for the polymers.
