Zusammenfassung:A study was conducted on the polymer gels, which contains phosphate groups in side chains, for its usefulness in the drug delivery softcontact lens (SCL). Naphazoline, a model drug having a cationic group, was incorporated into the SCL due to its phosphate groups and released over a period of about 14hours. Furthermore, the deformation of SCL was negligible.
