Structural Analysis of the Composite Film Fabricated by Simultaneous Evaporation of Nickel and Phthalocyanine in Vacuum

A composite film (Ni*Pc) was prepared by evaporating nickel (Ni) and phthalocyanine (Pc) simultaneously from different sources in a vacuum. The visible absorption spectra of dilute solutions of the Ni*Pc sample were measured. As a result, the formation of phthalocyanine complex (NiPc) in the sample...

Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:A composite film (Ni*Pc) was prepared by evaporating nickel (Ni) and phthalocyanine (Pc) simultaneously from different sources in a vacuum. The visible absorption spectra of dilute solutions of the Ni*Pc sample were measured. As a result, the formation of phthalocyanine complex (NiPc) in the sample was confirmed. And, by X-ray diffraction measurement, electron diffraction measurement and TEM observation of the Ni*Pc, the crystallinity and crystallite size of Pc or NiPc component in the sample were found to decrease largely compared with those of Pc deposition only. Such a reaction for NiPc synthesis may be caused by drastic depression in crystallinity of Pc component by simultaneous evaporation with Ni.
