Zusammenfassung: | 2, 4-Diamino-6-vinyl-s-triazine (VT) was synthesized by a novel method. The thermal properties of VT and its polymer were studied by using DTA, TGA, and IR. The exothermic peak based on the polymerization of VT was observed in the DTA thermogram, but the endothermic peak based on its fusion was not observed. The results of TGA showed that VT sublimes about 60% on heating of 5°C/min to 250°C and polymerizes thermally at its 250°C. The glass transition temperature of polymer is 330°C, its polymer undergoes the thermal decomposition immediately after Tg. PVT showed the weight loss of 1.2% for the heat treatment of an hour/300°C. The aminotriazine ring of PVT is clearly noticed in the IR spectrum. Further, the results of TGA and IR spectra show that PVT has a weight loss of 6.0% and that some of the triazine ring decomposed thermally. The temperature for the initial thermal decomposition of PVT is almost equal to that of other vinyl polymers, but has the residual weight of 50% at 500°C. |
