Zusammenfassung: | Selahaddin Eyyubi is one of the greatest statesmen of the Islamic world. Selahaddin Eyyubi is the first time that Eyyubi is active in Egypt. Nureddin Zengi sent to Egypt by the expedition next to his nephew Salahuddin Eyyubi. Egypt was conquered by Shirkuh, and Nureddin was given the administration of Şirkuh. However, when Şirkuh died after a short time, his nephew Selahaddin Eyyubi took over the management of this region. Selahaddin Eyyubi, initially connected to the Zengi continued to exist in Egypt. But after Nureddin's death, he gained independence. Selahaddin Eyyubi’s greatest goal was to successfully fight against the Crusaders. However, his greatest obstacle was the Muslim statesmen. Especially in Halep-Mosul region, some Muslim statesmen cooperated with the Crusaders against Selahaddin. For this reason, in order for Selahaddin to fight effectively against the Crusaders, he had to first re-establish the Islamic unity that had broken after Nureddin's death. In this study, Salahaddin Eyyubi's efforts to establish Islamic unity during the struggle with the Crusaders and the difficulties they face will be explained. |
