Zusammenfassung: | Various levels of low gravity, from micro-to normal gravity, are established by a speed-controllable drop tower. Experimental apparatus is installed in a falling frame, which is connected with a servo-motor by a belt and pulleys. The speed of falling frame is controlled by a servo-motor and computer. Falling height is about 12 m and the duration of the low-gravity level is more than 1 sec. The g-jitter level is about 5 × 10-2 g. |
