Zusammenfassung: | Problems in the application of the digital PI or PID predictive control to practical control systems are studied. Predictive control is expected to be effective for a process having large dynamics and large time delay. This control system deals with a prediction of controlled variable. Practical application to a real process is very easy, because a conventional PI or PID controller can be applied. The consecquent control performance is superior to that with the conventional PI or PID control. The usefulness of predictive control is confirmed through digital simulations and experiments. |
