Zusammenfassung: | Combustion tests using Datung-coal were carried out in an experimental fluidized-bed combustor with a grid-type internal baffle. Effects of the baffle on combustion characteristics, especially in desulfurization efficiency, were investigated. The combustor was 0.155 m in I.D. Static bed heigh was 0.4 m. The baffle was placed 0.45 m above the air distributor. The installation of the baffle markedly improved the desulfurization efficiency. The oxygen concentration in the bed below the baffle was found to increase. It was concluded that the improvement in desulfurization efficiency resulted from the faster sulfation rate of CaO in the more oxidative atmosphere. |
