Zusammenfassung:We have synthesized Tb and Eu complexes exhibiting visible emission under UV excitation. These complexes are embedded in an organogel composed of p-chlorophenol and an anionic surfactant, AOT, and organized by self-assembly in nonpolar solvents. The complexes can be dispersed about eight times more in the organogel than in conventional liquids. It is also shown that the Tb and Eu complexes emit almost independently in the organogel environment, a property that can be well applied to color-tuning devices.
