Chemical Oxidation of SrCoO3−δ

Various chemical oxidants were investigated for their capability to oxidize brownmillerite SrCoO2.5 to perovskite SrCoO3−δ. Among the oxidants tested, KMnO4/HCl was found to be the strongest to yield SrCoO3−δ with δ≈0.06.
