Synthesis of a Molybdenum Cluster Complex [Mo12(μ3-S)14(μ4-S)2(PEt3)10] with Chevrel Phase Type Intercluster Bondings

The reaction of [Mo6S8(PEt3)6] with elemental sulfur in toluene at reflux temperature formed a dodecanuclear cluster complex [Mo12S16(PEt3)10] with the Chevrel phase type intercluster bonding.
