Zusammenfassung: | This paper introduces, with the concept of "action-oriented analysis", bibliographic-data-based analysis aiming to develop research strategy of universities and research institutions. Firstly, introduces the cross-disciplinal metrics such as "FWCI (Field-Weighted Citation Impact)", SNIP and SJR, while referring the limitation of commonly-used metrics such as citation counts and Impact Factor. Secondly, introduces practical analysis examples that Elsevier has performed for universities inside and outside of Japan. The main theme here is "internationalization of universities" and starts from analysis of internationally co-authored publications and its impact. "Author Profile" is a set of publications of specific authors that covers his/her life-long publications. This "Author Profile" enables us to track the affiliation history of a researcher and to analyze the "brain circulation". |
