Databases on aerospace and aeronautics - Roles of NASA and its online retrieval took part

This article reports a great role of NASA's efforts in the course of developments on database, which exploited from abstract journals to machine readable files and from batch services to on-line services. An attention should be paid to that NASA contributed to industries with their technology through Regional Dissemination Centers. It also presents review of various databases in U.S. and Europe, such as bibliographies, computer programs, parts, satellites, newsletters on aerospace and aeronautics.
