Zusammenfassung:Summary Sixty female patients with gonorrhoea were treated with 3 g cefaclor given over 2½ days. Of 52 followed-up, only 2 required re-treatment for gonorrhoea; in one of these the failure was not confirmed by culture, and in the other, re-infection was suspected. Amongst the successfully-treated cases one had previously failed to respond to amoxycillin. It is concluded that cefaclor is an effective treatment for gonorrhoea.
