Plains Anthropological Society 2011 Native American Student Award Winner

In 2008 the Tribe established its Tribal Historic Preservation Office (THPO), where Michael has worked to obtain funding, to establish an elder advisory council, and to gain recognition of the THPO by the National Park Service.
