Zusammenfassung:Cerebral aneurysms rupture when their natural frequencies coincide with bruit frequencies. The natural frequencies of cerebral aneurysms are determined by their closing angles When the closing angles approaches 48.5° (+/- 1.3°), the untreated or partially treated cerebral aneurysms face higher risk of rupture. Using the Closing Angle to predict which aneurysm is at risk of rupture may help in therapeutical decisions.
