Zusammenfassung:A brief up-to-date overview on the isolation, and chemical and biological characterization of new and known alkaloids from different Amaryllidaceae species, including Brunsvigia, Crinum, Cyrtanthus, Narcissus, and Nerine genera, was reported. Furthermore, the isolation and chemical characterization of alkaloids extracted from bulbs of Narcissus tazetta subsp. tazetta L. collected from Muğla, Turkey were described.
