Zusammenfassung:In this study, a comparative analysis of virtual reality (VR) and desktop conditions was used to investigate how levels of immersion influence spatial ability. The study revealed significant differences in participants’ spatial environmental ability, with VR users displaying enhanced spatial ability as compared to desktop users. These findings support previous studies regarding the efficacy of immersive versus non-immersive technologies in spatial learning. This study contributes valuable insights for spatial ability training and educational methodologies, and points to the need for further research on this topic.
