Evangelicals and Politics in Latin America

Most Latin American countries have evangelical, largely pentecostal, political parties, although not with a very broad support base, even amongst the evangelicals. Where the evangelical church is united they have a greater chance of success, but this is often not the case, and probably occurs most often where there is persecution.
