Zusammenfassung: | In 1991, the Centers forDisease Control (CDC) revised guidelines for management of childhood lead poisoning. 1 With acceptable blood lead levels lowered from 25 μg/dL to 10 μg/dL, the percentage of children requiring close monitoring for lead intoxication increased from 14 % to 65 % of children under age 7 years in our inner-city clinic.
