Zusammenfassung:A case of spontaneous, partial, unilateral thrombosis of the corpus cavernosum is described. A 35-year-old white male presented with a painful mass in the perineum without priapism. Diagnostic evaluation with sonography and magnetic resonance imaging revealed a thrombosis in the left posterior corporal body. Treatment consisted of intravenous heparin followed by prophylactic acetylsalicylic acid. The thrombosis resolved spontaneously over several months without sequelae. Conservative management of this rare disease appears to be possible and safe.
