Zusammenfassung: | This paper has shown the progresses and evaluations on the chemical effect headloss pressure drop causing factors for the post loss of coolant accident (LOCA) nuclear power plant safety concerns. The 'chemical effect head loss pressure drop' tests were performed by simulating power plant input parameters post-LOCA 30-days period. The following various factors have to be evaluated to find out the chemical effect head loss causing factors, i) released Al from metallic corrosion and/or insulators which plays major role in the AlOOH, NAS (sodium aluminum silicate) precipitates, ii) particles size, debris bed pore size, iii) electrostatic and chemical interaction between precipitates and debris bed short and longer times for the Ostwald ripening, iv) flow patterns (laminar/turbulent), v) dissolved gas phases impregnation in the debris bed, vi) viscosity, vii) fiber strength, viii) solubility (T, pH), and ix) composition of debris bed such as glass fiber with dust, dirts, iron oxide, etc. |
