Zusammenfassung:The high temperature oxidation resistance of TiAl-alloy was significantly enhanced by applying the halogen-effect using fluorine beam line implantation. Short-time oxidation at 900°C was carried out in order to study the effect of heating rate on the F-concentration profiles detected by non-destructive ion beam analyses. The composition of oxide scale depending on heating rate was also investigated.
