Durability of Anode-supported SOFCs Stack using La(Ni,Fe)O 3 Cathode
The Durability of a power generation unit composed of an anode-supported SOFC with a La(Ni,Fe)O 3 cathode and uncoated metallic interconnects was measured. cathode and uncoated metallic interconnects was measured. A high electrical conversion efficiency of 60% (LHV) was obtained for more than 7000 h. A thermal cycling test was conducted at t = 1500 h and little decay was observed. During the test the cell voltage decreased gradually after t = 5000 h. The cell voltage reduction was 0.5% per 1000 h. Resistance changes in the power generation unit were analyzed with impedance spectroscopy. The cathode polarization resistance and ohmic resistance both increased with time. The elements Si and B contained in the water that condensed from the anode exhaust gas were identified using inductively coupled plasma (ICP). |
