Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:Two spinel structures, LiMn2O4 as cathode and Li4Ti5O12 as anode, were studied as a promising chemistry for lithium-ion batteries. Both materials were studied for its electrochemical performance and heat generated during cycling by IMC at 25oC. Both electrodes exhibited good reversible capacities. Their thermal behaviors during cycling were similar in half cells and most of their heat develops at the end of the charge and discharge processes. Also, the heat generated by a LiMn2O4/Li4Ti5O12 cell was estimated using the individual heat generated by LiMn2O4 and Li4Ti5O12 materials.
