Zusammenfassung: | Building collapses are becoming more common, resulting in the loss of lives, a waste of resources, time, and money. When a building collapses, the shock has a societal, and often even international impact, and causes disgrace to the entire chain of stakeholders in the building industry. This study identified the contributions of internal stakeholders on building collapse as well as identify the factors that influenced building collapse in Lagos State. A survey of one hundred and fifty (150) construction stakeholders was conducted with ninety-two (92) questionnaires successfully retrieved and processed for analysis. Random sampling technique was used. Data collected were analyzed using the frequency table, mean score, and ANOVA (Analysis of Variance). The result reveals that there is significant difference in the contributions of internal stakeholders on building collapse in Lagos State. The study concludes that all internal stakeholders have a significant role to play on building construction projects. |
