A Voltamperometric Study of the Platinum Electrodeposition on Glassy Carbon Electrode. Influence of the Temperature of the Plating Bath
In this work, it was analyzed the Pt electrodeposition from the system GCE/0.01 M of K2PtCl4 at pH=6 and the temperatures 25, 30, 35 and 40 C, through cyclic voltammetry technique. The results suggest that the platinum electrodeposition process is diffusional-controlled and the diffusion coefficient...

Zusammenfassung: | In this work, it was analyzed the Pt electrodeposition from the system GCE/0.01 M of K2PtCl4 at pH=6 and the temperatures 25, 30, 35 and 40 C, through cyclic voltammetry technique. The results suggest that the platinum electrodeposition process is diffusional-controlled and the diffusion coefficients values are temperature dependent. Also the values of the limiting diffusion, and the ΔHD the activation energy of the system were evaluated. |
