Zusammenfassung: | In this study, we investigated the reason why the thermal stability of the pouch type cell was improved after applying the dopant to the cathode active material. Through EXAFS analysis of cathode, it was confirmed that the dopant acts as a structural stabilizer in the cathode active material at overheating condition. The SEI composition of anode is also analyzed to find the reason of the safety enhancement. It is re-confirmed that the cell safety is improved by thermal ramping test and mechanical short test of 3.2Ah pouch type cell. |
