Zusammenfassung:	We are assessing how VO 2 and the metal to insulator transition can be used for selector applications. We report on two types of devices: diodes with VO 2 /TiO 2 and devices with just VO 2 between metal electrodes. We also examine materials issues arising from fabricating these devices. Furthermore, we analyze performance of the VO 2 selector when combined with a HfO x RRAM memory cell.
