Zusammenfassung:This study was aimed at understanding the interaction of liquid organic fuels with Nafion® membranes. Carbocyclic compounds, O-containing and N-containing heterocyclic compounds were investigated as fuels. We report the properties of PEMs, such as solvent uptake, proton conductivity and fuel cell performance in the presence of such liquid organic fuels.
