Acquisition and corpus description of NITR conscious walk dataset

This report describes the NITR Conscious Walk Dataset which is constraint human walk database captured in visible spectrum. The database provides videos of 8 different walk directions. The 8 discrete directions spanning from 0° to 360° with respect to view axis of camera are equiangular from neighbouring directions. The video database is ideal for the estimation of pedestrian walk direction using both inter-frame and intra-frame properties, and can also be used for the further generaized study of object tracking, person reidentification, and studying gait features in different camera angles.
