Zusammenfassung: | The life of ultrasonic motors is limited by the wear of friction materials used for the contact
surfaces. In order to reduce the wear of the friction material, we have to reduce the sliding
speed between the sliding surfaces of the motor. In this report, we propose a new driving
method to reduce the sliding speed of the motor by shaping the vibration speed waveform.
The sliding loss was calculated and wear reduction effect was confirmed. A wear test was
carried out under no-load condition. This method prolongs the life of an ultrasonic motor by
about 3.4-fold. The results and wear reduction effects are also described. |
