2+
, Mn
2+
consist of three bands at 592 nm (attributed to Eu
2+
), 700 nm (attributed to Mn
2+
) and 820 nm. Their shapes depend on the Eu
2+
concentration and the excitation wavelength. We can see direct evidence of the energy transfer from Eu
2+
to Mn
2+
in the emission and excitation spectra of MgS: Eu
2+
, Mn
2+
. The new emission band observed at 820 nm is attributed to the center associated with both Eu
2+
and Mn
2+
,
e.g.
the paired-ion center of the Eu
2+
and Mn
2+
ions. |
