Zusammenfassung: | For the purpose of developing transparent and ultrathin antistatic films, chemically adsorbed monolayers containing poly(ethylene oxide) chains have been prepared on a glass surface by the reaction of a chemically adsorbed chlorosilane derivative with poly(ethylene glycol)s having different average molecular weights. The surface resistivities of the monolayers were found to be about two orders of magnitude lower than that of clean glass at a humidity of 40%. |
