Zusammenfassung: | The Cluster Sampling Technique (CST) developed to analyze the noise terms of atomic clocks and gyroscope has been applied to characterization of high-precision pressure quartz gauges. The log-log plot of the cluster variance defined as the variance of adjoining cluster vs cluster time is used to analyze the noise terms of time series measurement data. One of the test samples is a newly developed quartz pressure gauge having a dual mode SC-cut resonator. Two other commercial gauges are a BT-cut quartz probe and an AT-cut quartz gauge. The CST analysis results show that the dual mode SC-cut gauge has the lowest values for all noise factors analyzed. |
