The Effects of Oblique Incidence and Non-Monochromaticity on Visibility of Interference Fringes

The authors study the effects of the size of the aperture, through which the light enters the interferometer and of the finite width of the spectral line on the visibility of two beam interference fringes. Both the cases of narrow slit and circular aperture are considered.
